Donkey Sanctuary

The world renowned Donkey Sanctuary is adjacent to the Stoneleigh Village. Founded by Dr Elizabeth Svendsen in 1969, it is open 365 days per year from 9:00am each morning. The sanctuary is free of admission and is a firm favourite for all visitors.


Take in breath-taking views ont the Pecorama model railway exhibition and Beer Heights railway - only 6 miles from the Stoneleigh Village. Set on the hillside above the picturesque village of Beer it has all the hallmarks of a wonderful family day out.

Beer Quarry Caves

First worked by romans, the quarry has, over time, supplied stone for 24 cathedrals around the country including Exeter, St Pauls, The Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, and Westminster Abbey, as well as many stately homes and castles.


With over 60 rides and attractions and set in 100 acres of Devon Countryside, the award winning Crealy Great Adventure Park has over 100 animals, 30 outdoor attractions and a variety of other activities to choose from - catering for adults and children alike.
